I put together my first styled shoot and the results weren’t what I had imagined. The shoot took on a different angle but I’m so happy with the way it turned out. Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, TX, is an amazing venue and I wish we would have been able to utilize more of the venue but the bipolar weather of Texas kept us from venturing outside except for a couple quick shots like the one below. The day before it was 90 degrees and sunny, the day of was 43 degrees and raining. Joy.

Cara braved the cold for a few moments to allow me to capture the rustic outside look of the venue and I think it paired well with the whole look I was going for. I wanted to create a mostly rustic feel that the potential country Texas bride would love but also wanted to have a modern boho look as well. I’m so thankful for all of the vendors (now friendors) that came together for this shoot and made it a success!
